On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 14, the final conference of the European project Sport!OP!, which the Granollers City Council has led since the beginning of 2020, was held in the Sala Tarafa in Granollers. This project has been developed in framework of the Erasmus+ Sport program and the main objective has been the inclusion of vulnerable young people through the practice of sport.

Close to sixty people attended this conference which was used to review the almost 3 years of the project and in which representatives of all the European partners and also of the local organizations and clubs that took part took part.

The mayor of Granollers, Alba Barnusell, has valued “sport as a tool of transformation and cohesion to build a better future for everyone” and has expressed the desire that “this project leaves its mark, sharing the experiences, adapting them and making them grow”.

At the meeting, each European partner has presented the social action plans that they have defined as one of the results of their participation in the project. It has also explained the rest of the documents that the 7 European partners have worked on and that will be used so that other entities, administrations, municipalities or other groups can work on inclusion through sport.
